About Mohave Cabin with a Treehouse

Mohave Cabin with a Treehouse is our 7-bedroom cabin that has a barndominium and a treehouse out back, with the capacity to sleep up to 33 guests. This property is great for reunions, retreats, and even backyard weddings.

The backyard is great for everyone. The kids love the treehouse, the teens love the tetherball and giant Connect Four game, and everyone loves the hot tub and taking the kayaks down to Rainbow Lake. The half-acre property is surrounded by the ponderosa pines and cool mountain air of the White Mountains.

At 7,000 feet, Lakeside summers are genuinely refreshing — highs in the low-to-mid 80s, crisp evenings, and zero humidity. While the Phoenix valley swelters, your group of up to 33 will be sleeping with the windows open and waking up to birdsong in the forest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do people sleep in the treehouse?

No — the treehouse is a play structure out back, a favorite with kids, but it isn't set up for sleeping. The property's 33-guest capacity comes from the main 7-bedroom cabin (sleeps up to 21) plus the barndominium (sleeps up to 12 more).

Is Mohave Cabin good for a family reunion?

It's one of the best options in Arizona for reunions of 20–33 people. Everyone sleeps on the same property, shares a full kitchen, and has space to gather without feeling cramped.

How far is Mohave Cabin from Phoenix?

Approximately 3.5 hours via US-60 East through Globe, then east to Show Low and Lakeside. A straightforward drive with no mountain passes.

Can we book both Mohave Cabin and Parkway Lodge at the same time?

Yes. If your group exceeds 33, booking both cabins gives you space for up to 60 people across two adjacent properties. Call us to discuss combined availability.

What supplies are there for weddings?

The wedding arch, chairs, and extra foldable tables are all available to rent for your backyard wedding. The backyard can accommodate up to 40 people for a wedding.
